The manufacturing materials of flexible gas hoses fully consider several key factors in the structural design to ensure excellent performance and excellent safety in gas transmission systems. This kind of hose usually adopts a multi-layer structure, and each layer has specific responsibilities and works together to make the flexible gas hose adaptable to various harsh usage environments.
The inner layer of the hose is designed to be in direct contact with the gas. In this layer, common choices include fluoroelastomers or special polymers, which not only have excellent high temperature resistance, but also resist the effects of corrosion, ensuring that the transported gas is in a safe environment.
The second layer is the middle layer, usually a braided layer of stainless steel or aluminum alloy. The main function of this layer is to enhance the structural strength of the hose, giving it tensile strength and pressure resistance, ensuring that it is not susceptible to damage from external pressure during use.
The outer layer is the part of the hose that is in direct contact between the user and the hose, so it needs to be highly resistant to corrosion and weathering. For this purpose, special rubber or plastic is often chosen as the outer material, which not only resists corrosion but also protects against the adverse effects of UV radiation on the hose.
In order to cope with the high temperature environment, a high temperature resistant insulation layer is also added to the hose, usually using ceramic fiber. The existence of this layer effectively prevents the deformation or failure of the hose under high temperature conditions, ensuring its robustness and reliability in complex working environments.
